Use this control to build a song by stringing sections together. The image above shows a song made up of just one section - section A. The image below is a more typical example.
![]()
This shows a song consisting of a Section A, then another Section A, then a Section B and finally another Section A.
Click with the left mouse button to select from a pop-up menu of preset and other options for specifying which sections the song is composed of...
| A | (default setting) |
| AB | |
| ABC | |
| ABCD | |
| ABCDEFGH | |
| AAB | |
| AAAB | |
| ABAC | |
| ABCDABEF | |
| Selected Section | make the playlist automatically change when a new Section Page is selected |
| Custom... | use this option to define your own sequence - a song can use any of the twelve sections (A to L), one or more times, in any order |
| Insert Selected Section | insert the currently selected section into the playlist at the position indicated by the mouse click |
To quickly insert the currently selected section into the playlist left click on the desired insertion point while holding down the CTRL key.
| Click with the right mouse button on a section within the Playlist to display that section's page in the lower half of the application window. |
| While constructing a song
you might often find yourself wanting to switch between
listening to the whole song and listening to just a
single section. One way to do this is to alternate
between the Custom and Selected
Section menu options. The <, > and
spacebar keys are also useful for quickly moving around
inside a song. Sections I, J, K and L are disabled in the Demo version. |
